Seeking a Post Graduate Economics Teacher for Delhi Public School, Dhenkanal
Delhi Public School in Dhenkanal is looking for an experienced Post Graduate (PGT) Economics Teacher to join its faculty. The role involves teaching Economics at the senior secondary level, fostering critical thinking among students through engaging classroom interactions and practical applications of economic concepts. This position is ideal for someone passionate about shaping young minds with a strong foundation in macro and microeconomic theories while aligning with modern pedagogical practices.
The PGT Economics Teacher will design and deliver comprehensive lesson plans covering key topics like market economics, development economics, and financial literacy. Daily classroom instruction will include interactive sessions, case studies, and real-world examples to enhance student understanding. The teacher will also prepare students for competitive exams by offering additional study materials and revision sessions. Collaborating with the subject coordinator to ensure alignment with the school’s curriculum goals is essential.
This role requires a candidate with a postgraduate degree in Economics or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably in Economics or a related subject, is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this position, it will be considered favorably in the selection process. Strong communication skills, a deep understanding of economic principles, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs are highly valued.
