Responsibilities
Plan and deliver comprehensive Geography lessons for classes IX‑XII, adhering to the CBSE syllabus and school standards. Conduct field trips, map exercises and project work to enhance experiential learning. Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests and examinations, providing timely feedback. Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to curriculum reviews and support co‑curricular activities related to Geography. Maintain classroom discipline and create an inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Geography or a related discipline. Must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET, although it is not mandatory.
Experience
Minimum of three years of teaching experience at the PGT level in a recognized school. Experience in preparing students for board examinations and using ICT tools for teaching is desirable.
Salary
Rs.40,000 - Rs.65,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
