About This Role
We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced PGT Mathematics Teacher to join Aakash Vidya Higher Secondary School in Dhenkanal Sadar, Dhenkanal, Odisha. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students of classes 11 and 12.
Pedagogy and Tools
As a Mathematics teacher at Aakash Vidya Higher Secondary School, you will use practical methods, tools, and lab activities to make learning Mathematics engaging and interactive. You will also use digital tools to create engaging multimedia content and assessments.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Mathematics to classes 11 and 12.
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans to meet the needs of students.

- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress.
- Provide individualized support to students who need extra help.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Mathematics curriculum.

- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Develop and implement innovative Mathematics projects and activities.
- Supervise students during Mathematics practical sessions.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this role, you must have a post-graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field, such as M.Sc in Mathematics or M.A. in Mathematics. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is also required for teaching positions. Preference will be given to candidates with TET or CTET certification.
