Coordinate with the subject coordinator to review and update lesson plans based on student feedback and assessment results. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies, resource allocation, and curriculum improvements. Collaborate with other Social Science teachers to share best practices and enrich classroom experiences. Support extracurricular activities such as debates, model rallies, and cultural events related to Social Science themes.
Periodic Responsibilities
Prepare weekly progress reports for students, documenting their performance in Social Science subjects. Attend parent-teacher interactions to discuss student achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with school policies regarding attendance, discipline, and academic standards. Participate in school-wide events like fairs, exhibitions, or awareness campaigns where Social Science content is relevant.
Qualifications and Experience
A graduate degree in Social Science or a related field is mandatory. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required for this role. Experience in teaching Social Science to students for at least three years is preferred. A TET/CTET certificate is highly beneficial but not mandatory. Strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for fostering critical thinking in students are essential.
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
