About This Role
Saraswati Vidya Mandir, a premier educational institution in Ganjam, seeks a dedicated and passionate TGT English Teacher to shape the academic journey of our students. As a TGT English Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a love for English literature and language among our young scholars in Ganjam, Odisha.
Classroom Profile
You will be responsible for teaching English to students in classes VI to X. The teaching environment is collaborative, and you will be expected to work closely with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning space.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities of students.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a love for English literature and language among students through interactive and participatory teaching methods.
- Encourage students to express themselves creatively through writing, reading, and debating.
- Develop critical thinking and communication skills in students through English language teaching.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide English language programs.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the English language curriculum.
- Utilize digital tools and resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you should possess a post-graduate degree in English (M.A.) and a B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience as a TGT English Teacher is required. Preference will be given to candidates with TET/CTET certification. You should be well-versed in curriculum planning, assessment, and classroom management.
