Job Overview
We seek a talented and passionate NTT English Teacher to join our team at St Xaviers High School in Jajpur. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English language and literature, with a proven track record of teaching students of diverse academic abilities. As an NTT English Teacher, you will be responsible for designing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall academic excellence of our institution.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Develop and deliver lesson plans for English language and literature classes, aligned to the state board curriculum.
- Assess student progress, identify areas of improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive learning environment, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and projects.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment results.
- Participate in school-wide events, workshops, and training programs to enhance professional development.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless progress.
- Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies, technologies, and best practices in English language education.
- Contribute to the development of educational resources, materials, and activities for English language classes.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree in English literature or a related field.
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. certification with a strong background in English language and literature.
- A minimum of two years of experience in teaching English language and literature to students of diverse academic abilities.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
