As an Economics teacher, you will be working with students from Class 11 to 12, who are preparing for their board exams. Your role will be to create engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of all learners, including those with special needs.
What You Will Do
As a PGT Economics Teacher, your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver high-quality lesson plans that cater to the needs of all learners. Your duties will include:
* Developing and implementing differentiated instruction to meet the needs of students with varying learning styles and abilities
* Creating engaging lesson plans that incorporate real-world examples and case studies to make Economics more relevant and interesting
* Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help outside of class
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement inclusive pedagogy
* Using technology to enhance learning and engagement
* Conducting formative and summative assessments to track student progress
* Providing feedback to students on their performance and progress
* Participating in staff meetings and professional development workshops to stay updated on best practices in Economics teaching
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress and achieving
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you should have a postgraduate degree in Economics or a related field, with a specialization in Economics. You should also have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent results. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory, and TET or CTET certification is preferred.
