As a key member of our Physical Education department, you will be responsible for teaching Physical Education to students from various age groups, planning and implementing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver Physical Education lessons to students across various age groups, ensuring a balanced and engaging curriculum.
- Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement school-wide Physical Education programs and initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor students during Physical Education activities, promoting a culture of sportsmanship and teamwork.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments.
- Participate in school events, such as sports tournaments and festivals, showcasing our students' talents.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Physical Education, incorporating new ideas and methodologies into your teaching practices.
- Contribute to the development of Physical Education-related policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- A postgraduate degree (B.Ed or D.El.Ed) in Physical Education or a related field.
- A strong background in Physical Education, with experience in teaching and coaching students.
- TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
