About This Role
We are seeking a skilled Art And Craft Teacher to join St. Xavier High School in Jajpur, Odisha. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Art And Craft to students from Class 1 to Class 8.
What You Will Do
- Plan and execute engaging Art And Craft lessons for students.
- Create a conducive learning environment in the Art Room.
- Prepare and display students' artwork in school exhibitions.
- Develop students' fine motor skills through various craft activities.
- Encourage students to experiment with different art forms and techniques.
- Maintain the Art Room and its equipment.
- Assist students with projects and assignments as needed.
- Evaluate students' work and provide constructive feedback.
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to school events.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Fine Arts or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience as an Art And Craft Teacher in a school.
- Proficiency in teaching students from Class 1 to Class 8.
- Familiarity with Odisha's art and craft traditions.
Good to Have
- CTET or TET qualification.
- Experience in teaching special needs students.
- Fluency in Odia language.
- Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
