As a Mathematics teacher at St. Xavier High School, you will be expected to use a range of pedagogical tools and methods to engage students and promote deeper understanding of mathematical concepts. You will also be responsible for maintaining the Mathematics laboratory and ensuring that it is well-equipped and organized.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Mathematics to students in grades 6-10
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, including the use of visual aids and hands-on activities
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of Mathematics curriculum
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects
- Develop and implement innovative ways to engage students in Mathematics learning
- Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field
- A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree
- TET or CTET certification is preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics and pedagogical principles

Salary and Benefits
