Role
PGT Mathematics Teacher at St. Xavier High School | Fakirpur, located in Keonjhar Sadar, Kendujhar, Odisha. The position is a full‑time teaching role for senior secondary mathematics classes.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver the curriculum for classes IX to XII in alignment with the state board guidelines. Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback. Organize extra‑curricular maths activities such as Olympiads, quizzes and problem‑solving clubs to foster deeper interest. Maintain classroom discipline, prepare lesson plans and keep accurate records of attendance and grades.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in Mathematics or a related discipline. Must possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed teaching credential. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
Minimum of two years of teaching experience at the PGT level in a recognized school. Prior experience handling senior secondary mathematics and involvement in student enrichment programs will be advantageous.
Compensation
Salary ranges from Rs.30,000 to Rs.55,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The role includes statutory benefits as per school policy.
