PRT Physical Education Teacher Position at St. Xavier High School, Kendujhar
St. Xavier High School in Keonjhar Sadar, Kendujhar, seeks a dedicated PRT Physical Education Teacher to inspire and guide students in sports, fitness, and overall well-being. This role focuses on creating engaging, inclusive physical education programs while fostering discipline and teamwork among students.
Plan and conduct daily physical education classes, ensuring age-appropriate activities like games, athletics, and fitness routines. Develop and implement extracurricular sports programs, including inter-house competitions and school-level events. Maintain equipment inventory and ensure proper storage, repair, and hygiene standards. Collaborate with school management to organize sports days, health awareness campaigns, and partnerships with local sports clubs. Supervise student athletes during school-sponsored tournaments and ensure safety protocols are followed. Engage with parents to discuss students’ progress in physical activities and encourage active participation in school sports.
A graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is required. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in Physical Education, will be an advantage. The monthly salary for this position is Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000, with the role based in Keonjhar Sadar, Kendujhar.
