Saint Arnold High School in Khordha seeks a dedicated PGT Biology Teacher to lead advanced biology education in our corporate campus in Bhubaneswar. This role demands expertise in designing curriculum-aligned lessons, integrating modern pedagogies, and fostering critical thinking in students through hands-on experiments and real-world applications.
You will develop and deliver postgraduate-level biology modules, covering topics like genetics, ecology, and biochemistry, ensuring alignment with CBSE/ICSE syllabi. Practical work, including lab demonstrations and field studies, will be a core part of your responsibilities, requiring access to well-equipped biology labs and outdoor learning spaces. Assessments will include project-based evaluations, viva voce, and periodic tests to gauge conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.
A Bachelor’s in Biology with a postgraduate qualification (M.Sc. Biology or equivalent) is mandatory. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is essential for teaching at this level. While not mandatory, TET/CTET certification will be an advantage. At least two years of experience in teaching biology at the secondary or senior secondary level is required, preferably in a science-focused institution.
