Role Summary
Ajaya Higher Secondary School, a premier educational institution in Tamando, Khordha, Odisha, is seeking a dedicated and experienced PGT Physics Teacher to join its faculty. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching Physics to students from Classes XI to XII. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Physics and excellent teaching skills.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Teach Physics to students from Classes XI to XII.
2. Prepare and deliver lesson plans.
3. Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
4. Conduct experiments and demonstrations in the Physics laboratory.
5. Develop and implement new teaching methods.
6. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional materials.
8. Attend staff meetings and participate in school events.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Post-graduate degree in Physics or related field (M.Sc. in Physics).
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree.
- Teaching experience of at least 4 years.
- Valid TET/CTET certification.
Good to Have:
- Experience in teaching Physics at the senior secondary level.
- Knowledge of CBSE/ICSE curriculum.
- Familiarity with technology-enhanced teaching methods.
- Fluency in local languages, particularly Odia.
