About This Role
Gandhi Science College invites applications for the position of PGT Physics in Khordha, Odisha. What You Will Do
Deliver lectures on Physics for Classes 11 and 12 as per CBSE guidelines. Conduct regular lab sessions to enhance experimental skills among students. Mentor students for competitive exams like JEE Main and NEET through specialized coaching.
Assist in setting and evaluating mid-term and final examination papers. Organize science exhibitions and inter-collegiate quiz competitions in Bhubaneswar and nearby areas. Develop supplementary study material aligned with the latest syllabus updates.
Guide students in selecting research projects for national-level science fairs. Coordinate with the department head for curriculum enrichment and resource procurement.
Eligibility Criteria
Master’s degree in Physics with a minimum of 55% marks is required. UGC-NET or CSIR-NET qualification is mandatory for appointment as Assistant Professor. Candidates without NET but holding SET or SLET will be considered for PGT roles.
Three years of teaching experience in Physics at the senior secondary level is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. in Physics or relevant specialization.
Research Opportunities

Salary and Benefits
