About This Role
Ajaya Higher Secondary School in Tamando, Khordha, Odisha, seeks an experienced PGT Sanskrit Teacher to join our esteemed faculty. As a seasoned educator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic journey of our students, fostering a deep appreciation for Sanskrit literature and culture.
Key Responsibilities
As a PGT Sanskrit Teacher, your key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive Sanskrit curriculum that caters to the diverse needs of our students.
- Coaching students for board exams, providing personalized guidance and support to ensure excellent results.
- Conducting regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborating with colleagues to plan and execute school events, such as Sanskrit fests and cultural programs.
- Participating in school-wide initiatives to promote Sanskrit language and literature.
- Maintaining accurate records of student performance and progress.
- Contributing to the school's community service programs by organizing Sanskrit-related activities.
- Assisting in the development of school policies and procedures related to Sanskrit education.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in Sanskrit teaching and learning.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A post-graduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field.
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in teaching Sanskrit at the PGT level.
- Preference will be given to candidates who possess a TET or CTET certification.
- Strong knowledge of Sanskrit literature, grammar, and vocabulary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
