Role Summary

Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver dance lessons to students from grade 1 to 10.
2. Prepare and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with varying skill levels.

5. Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded curriculum.
6. Develop and implement extracurricular dance programs for students.
7. Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
8. Monitor and manage student behavior during dance classes.
9. Participate in school events and activities related to dance.
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution
- Experience of teaching dance in a school setting for at least 2 years
- Strong knowledge of dance theory and practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Good to Have:
- TET or CTET certification
- Experience of teaching dance to students with special needs
- Knowledge of Odia and English languages
- Familiarity with school management software and technology
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of Indian classical and folk dances
- Experience of teaching dance to students from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to create innovative and engaging dance lessons
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with local dance traditions and cultural events
