TGT Physical Education Teacher Position at Vivekananda Shiksha Kendra, Khordha
Vivekananda Shiksha Kendra in Khordha is seeking a dedicated TGT Physical Education Teacher to join its team in Bhubaneswar (metropolitan campus). This role focuses on designing and delivering engaging physical education programs that foster health, discipline, and sportsmanship among students. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for sports, a strong pedagogical foundation, and the ability to inspire young minds through dynamic classroom and field activities.
The role demands hands-on involvement in teaching a variety of sports—from team games like cricket and football to individual disciplines like athletics and yoga. You will plan and conduct daily physical activities, ensuring compliance with school safety protocols while adapting lessons to different skill levels. Coordination with extracurricular sports teams and organizing inter-house competitions will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you’ll maintain records of student progress, participate in school events, and collaborate with other teachers to align physical education with academic goals.
To qualify, you must hold a postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A minimum of four years of teaching experience in physical education or sports is preferred, though exceptional candidates with relevant experience may be considered. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset. Your passion for sports, ability to motivate students, and familiarity with modern teaching methods will be key to success in this role.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month, along with opportunities for professional growth within Vivekananda Shiksha Kendra’s dynamic educational environment.
