NTT Environmental Studies (Evs) Teacher Position at Dips School, Amritsar
Dips School | Rayya in Amritsar is seeking a dedicated NTT Environmental Studies (Evs) Teacher to join their team. This role focuses on delivering hands-on, experiential learning in Evs across primary and secondary classes. The successful candidate will engage students through practical activities, field trips, and interactive lessons to foster environmental awareness.
The teacher will prepare and conduct classroom lessons covering topics like biodiversity, climate change, and sustainable practices. Daily lesson planning must align with the school’s curriculum while ensuring engaging, age-appropriate activities. Assisting in organizing school events related to environmental conservation is also part of the responsibilities.
Fieldwork and outdoor learning are key components of this role. The teacher will lead students on nature walks, waste management drives, and eco-projects, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Collaboration with other teachers and school management will help integrate Evs into broader academic goals.
A graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, relevant teaching experience is preferred. The salary for this position ranges from Rs.18,000 to Rs.32,000 per month, depending on performance and qualifications.
