Hindi (NTT) Vacancy in Bathinda, Punjab
The Millennium School
Job Description
The Millennium School in Bathinda is seeking a dedicated NTT Hindi Teacher to strengthen its Hindi language curriculum. This role focuses on delivering foundational Hindi education to students, ensuring they grasp essential grammar, vocabulary, and literary concepts. The position emphasizes hands-on teaching in a vibrant, multicultural environment where Hindi fluency is both a subject and a bridge to cultural understanding. The school values teachers who can engage students with age-appropriate methods, fostering both academic growth and a love for the language.
Role Responsibilities
You will conduct daily Hindi classes, adapting lessons to meet the developmental needs of students from Class I to VIII. This includes teaching grammar rules, sentence structure, and basic writing skills while using interactive methods like storytelling, games, and visual aids. The curriculum aligns with Punjab’s education board standards, so you’ll prepare lesson plans that cover grammar, literature, and cultural aspects of Hindi.
Teaching support involves assessing student progress through quizzes, projects, and continuous evaluation. You’ll also mentor younger students, helping them build confidence in speaking and writing Hindi. The school encourages creative teaching—incorporating regional Punjabi influences where relevant to keep lessons engaging. You’ll collaborate with other Hindi teachers to refine teaching strategies and share best practices.
Maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere is key, so you’ll address behavioral issues with patience while ensuring discipline. Regular parent-teacher interactions will help track student development and address concerns promptly. The role also includes preparing students for school-level exams, ensuring they meet benchmark requirements.
Eligibility
To qualify, you must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least two years of teaching experience in Hindi. A graduate degree in Hindi or a related field is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset. The school values candidates who are passionate about Hindi pedagogy and committed to shaping young minds in a supportive environment.
The Millennium School offers a full-time position with a competitive salary of Rs.16,000 to Rs.30,000 per month. If you’re eager to contribute to a dynamic educational setting in Bathinda, this opportunity awaits.
