Pedagogy and Tools (smart boards, Google Classroom, LMS, blended learning)
At Silver Oaks School, we believe in harnessing technology to streamline teaching and learning. Our TGT English Teacher will have access to smart boards, Google Classroom, and our Learning Management System (LMS) to create engaging lesson plans and facilitate blended learning.
Key Responsibilities
Our TGT English Teacher will be responsible for:
- Preparing and delivering lessons to students in grades 6-10
- Creating engaging lesson plans that incorporate digital tools and smart boards
- Using Google Classroom to post assignments, grades, and feedback
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum and assessments
- Conducting regular progress meetings with students and parents
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participating in school events and professional development programs
- Utilizing our LMS to track student progress and grades
- Integrating technology into the classroom to enhance student engagement
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for the TGT English Teacher position, you must have a post-graduate degree in English with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed certificate. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed the CTET or TET exam.
