Prepare and submit regular progress reports to track student performance and areas for improvement.
Ensure proper classroom management, including attendance tracking, discipline enforcement, and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning space. Participate in school-wide initiatives like parent-teacher meetings, cultural fairs, and language competitions to promote Hindi as a living language. Stay updated on teaching methodologies and educational resources to continuously improve instructional quality.
Qualifications and Requirements
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Hindi or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to qualify for the PRT role. A TET or CTET certificate is highly preferred to demonstrate teaching eligibility. Candidates should be passionate about Hindi literature, grammar, and modern language teaching practices.
Experience in teaching Hindi to school-aged students for at least two years is mandatory. Strong communication skills in Hindi and English are essential, along with creativity in lesson design and a commitment to student development. Familiarity with Punjab’s educational curriculum and local cultural context would be an asset.
