TGT Physics Teacher Job in Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab | School Recruitment
The role involves conducting engaging physics lessons for classes 6 to 8, preparing laboratory experiments, and ensuring students grasp core concepts through practical demonstrations.
Scope of the Role
The teacher will be responsible for delivering the physics curriculum across multiple grades, managing classroom dynamics, and maintaining laboratory safety. Coordination with other subject teachers for interdisciplinary projects is also expected.
Core Academic Duties
Planning and delivering lessons that align with the state syllabus, using visual aids and interactive methods to illustrate physical principles. Supervising laboratory sessions, troubleshooting equipment, and guiding students in conducting experiments safely. Assisting in the development of supplementary teaching materials and resources to enhance student understanding.
Assessment and Planning Duties
Designing formative and summative assessments, grading assignments, and providing feedback to students. Preparing periodic progress reports and participating in parent‑teacher meetings to discuss student performance. Contributing to the annual curriculum review and updating lesson plans based on student outcomes.
Qualification and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Physics or related field required. Three years of teaching experience at the secondary level preferred. B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification mandatory; TET or CTET certification is an advantage.
Salary and Location
Competitive remuneration ranging from Rs.22,000 to Rs.45,000 per month for a full‑time position in Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab at Lady Lrd Public School.
