Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons in accordance with the prescribed syllabus.
2. Conduct laboratory experiments safely, ensuring students follow proper protocols.
3. Assess student performance through assignments, tests and practicals, and provide constructive feedback.
4. Prepare teaching aids, worksheets and multimedia resources to enhance learning.
5. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and laboratory inventory.
6. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school events.
7. Mentor students in science projects and guide them for competitions.
8. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary approaches where appropriate.
Requirements
- Post‑graduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc or equivalent).
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level.
- TET/CTET certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong command of English and Hindi for effective communication.
- Ability to manage a school laboratory and ensure safety standards.
Salary
Rs.38,000 - Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
