Job Summary
PGT Geography Teacher Job in Fazilka, Punjab at Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Public School. Full‑time position for a post‑graduate qualified teacher to deliver geography lessons to senior secondary students. Location is Fazilka, Punjab.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging geography lessons aligned with the curriculum. Assess student progress, prepare reports, and participate in school meetings. Coordinate with faculty to integrate geography into interdisciplinary projects and field excursions.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Geography or related field. B.Ed or D.El.Ed required for teaching. TET or CTET preferred but not mandatory. Ability to use modern teaching aids and technology.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level. Experience in preparing students for competitive exams is an advantage.
Compensation
Salary range of Rs.38,000 – Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include performance incentives and professional development opportunities.
