Senior Hindi Department Role
Guru Atam Vallabh Jain Aadarsh Vidyalaya is expanding its Hindi department and invites experienced PRT Hindi Teachers to step into a leadership role. What You Will Do
Oversee the planning and delivery of the Hindi curriculum for PRT classes, ensuring alignment with CBSE standards and local educational needs. Monitor student progress closely and provide targeted feedback to support improvement in Hindi reading, writing, and oral expression.
Design and implement classroom strategies that make Hindi accessible and enjoyable for young learners, using stories, poems, and interactive activities tailored to Fazilka’s cultural context. Collaborate with subject teachers across grades to maintain consistency in Hindi language development from Class 1 to Class 5.
Prepare students for Hindi recitation competitions, inter-house events, and school assemblies, fostering pride in language and literature. Support junior PRT teachers with lesson planning, classroom management tips, and resource sharing to strengthen the Hindi team.
Analyze Hindi performance data to identify common challenges and plan remedial sessions for students needing extra support. Contribute to the preparation of Hindi content for school newsletters, annual functions, and community events.
Assist in organizing Hindi-related workshops for parents to promote language use at home. Maintain strong communication with parents regarding student progress in Hindi.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in Hindi or a related field is required. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory for this PRT Hindi Teacher position. Prior teaching experience of at least one year in Hindi at the primary level is expected.
TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with CBSE Hindi textbooks and assessment patterns will be an advantage. Knowledge of local dialects and cultural references from Fazilka and surrounding areas is helpful.
