Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate PRT Punjabi Teacher to join our faculty at Ravenwood International School. As a PRT Punjabi Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Punjabi language and literature to students from Class 1 to 8. You will play a crucial role in shaping the linguistic and cultural identity of our students, instilling in them a deep appreciation for the Punjabi language and its rich heritage.

What You Will Do

* Plan and deliver engaging Punjabi language and literature lessons to students from Class 1 to 8
* Develop and implement curriculum-aligned materials to promote language learning and cultural awareness
* Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve their Punjabi language skills
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate school events and activities that celebrate Punjabi culture
* Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote language and literacy skills among students
* Develop and maintain relationships with parents and the wider school community to promote Punjabi language and culture
* Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to language and cultural education
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance

Who Can Apply

To be eligible for this role, you should have a strong passion for teaching Punjabi language and culture, as well as a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment. You should hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree in Punjabi language and literature, with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed TET or CTET. You should be fluent in Punjabi and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
