The Heritage School in Farikot, Fazilka, Punjab invites applications for a full-time TGT Biology Teacher position. Pedagogy and Tools
As a TGT Biology Teacher, you will use practical methods, tools, and activities to engage students in the learning process. You will use lab equipment, diagrams, and models to explain complex Biology concepts and facilitate hands-on learning experiences. You will also use digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance teaching and learning in the Biology classroom.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Biology classes VI to XII.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on activities for Biology classes.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Conduct Biology experiments and lab activities to demonstrate scientific concepts.
- Use digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance teaching and learning in the Biology classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's Biology curriculum.
- Participate in school-wide professional development activities to improve teaching skills.
- Maintain a well-organized and safe Biology laboratory.
- Supervise students during Biology experiments and lab activities.
- Participate in extracurricular activities related to Biology, such as science fairs and quizzes.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you must possess a post-graduate degree in Biology or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is also required. A TET or CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory.

- Strong knowledge of Biology curriculum for classes VI to XII.
- Experience in teaching Biology to classes VI to XII.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with digital tools and multimedia resources.
- Ability to adapt to changing curriculum requirements.
