- Collaborate with colleagues to align teaching strategies and assess student progress.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in Computer Science education.
- Provide individualized support to students with special needs and abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
- Engage with the wider school community to promote the value of Computer Science education and to foster partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
- Stay updated on technological advancements and emerging trends in Computer Science, and incorporate these into the curriculum and teaching methods.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this position, you must have a strong academic background in Computer Science, with a postgraduate degree (M.Sc/M.Tech) and a Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed/D.El.Ed). Experience of teaching Computer Science to students of classes 9-12 would be preferred. You should also have a valid B.Ed degree and a good understanding of the Punjab School Education Board curriculum.
