Divine Light Modern School invites applications for a dedicated PGT Geography Teacher to join their esteemed team in Gurdaspur. This is a full-time position focused on delivering high-quality geography education to students, blending theoretical knowledge with practical fieldwork where possible. Teaching responsibilities will include designing and delivering engaging geography lessons aligned with school curriculum standards. The successful candidate will create lesson plans that incorporate maps, field trips, and interactive discussions to foster a deeper understanding of geographical concepts. Classroom management skills will be essential to maintain a structured yet dynamic learning environment.
Assessment of student performance will involve regular evaluations through quizzes, projects, and exams. The teacher must also prepare students for board examinations, ensuring they grasp both theoretical and applied geography. Experience in using digital tools for geography education would be an added advantage.
