PRT Social Science Teacher Job in Hoshiarpur, Punjab | School Recruitment
Role
Birla Open Minds International School | Hoshiarpur is looking for a PRT Social Science Teacher to join the full‑time faculty. The role focuses on delivering engaging lessons in history, geography, political science, and economics to classes in the school.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute curriculum‑aligned lessons for Social Science.
Assess student progress through tests, projects, and classroom activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary projects and school events.
Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student records.
Participate in faculty meetings and professional development workshops.
Qualification
Graduate degree in any discipline.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed required for teaching positions.
TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
Experience in delivering Social Science content to secondary level students is essential.
Compensation
Rs.18,000 – Rs.32,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
