Your core responsibilities include delivering high-quality Accountancy classes, preparing comprehensive lesson notes, and assessing student performance through practical exams and projects. You must stay updated on accounting standards, tax laws, and financial management practices to ensure relevance in the classroom. Collaborating with the principal and department heads, you’ll participate in planning board meetings and contributing to school-wide academic initiatives. Additionally, you’ll guide students in preparing for competitive exams like CA Foundation and IPCC, aligning with industry demands. Organizing workshops and guest lectures will further enrich the curriculum, while maintaining discipline and fostering a positive classroom culture are non-negotiable duties.
To excel in this role, you must hold a postgraduate degree in Accountancy or Commerce with at least three years of teaching experience in Accountancy Teaching. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential, along with a TET/CTET certificate preferred. Your expertise should include proficiency in accounting software like Tally and Excel, along with a passion for mentoring students. Experience in developing educational content and assessing students in Accountancy will be highly valued.
