Responsibilities
Teach high school chemistry across grades 9 to 12, ensuring alignment with the latest curriculum standards. Develop engaging lesson plans that blend theoretical concepts with practical experiments, fostering hands-on learning. Assess student performance through continuous evaluation, including projects, lab work, and periodic tests.
Maintain a well-organized chemistry lab, ensuring safety protocols and equipment availability. Collaborate with the school management to enhance chemistry programs, including organizing workshops or field trips. Act as a mentor to junior teachers and support their professional growth in chemistry education.
Qualification
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Chemistry. Possess a strong academic background in chemistry, including research or teaching experience in the subject. Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE syllabi is highly beneficial.
Experience
Proven experience of at least four years in teaching chemistry at the high school level. Experience in designing and delivering innovative teaching methods, particularly in practical chemistry, is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a school environment with diverse student backgrounds.
