Job Description
Teaching English at Dips School | Urban Estate means you’ll handle classes from Class 9 to 12, shaping young minds with grammar, literature, and communication skills. Your days will mix lesson planning with classroom management, from teaching grammar rules to organizing debates or poetry recitals. You’ll also prepare students for board exams, ensuring they grasp both theory and practical speaking skills.
You’ll create lesson plans, conduct grammar workshops, and teach poetry, prose, and essay-writing. You’ll assess students through written tests, oral presentations, and projects. You’ll also coordinate with other teachers for interdisciplinary projects, like science-English collaborations. Your role includes mentoring students, guiding them through exam preparation, and ensuring they meet curriculum standards. You’ll attend school meetings to discuss teaching strategies and student progress. You’ll handle administrative tasks like maintaining grade books and reporting to the principal when needed.
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory, with at least four years of teaching experience in English. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. You should have strong command over English grammar, literature, and teaching methods. Experience with CBSE or state board syllabi is a plus. Your ability to engage students, adapt teaching styles, and work well in a team is essential. Patience, creativity, and a passion for literature will make your work more effective.
This PGT English Teacher position offers a competitive salary of Rs.45,000 to Rs.55,000 per month. You’ll also receive allowances for travel and stationery, along with a health benefits package.
