Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging classroom sessions for classes IX to XII, following the NCERT syllabus and school curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans, practical demonstrations, and laboratory work that encourage conceptual understanding.
Assess student performance through periodic tests, assignments and board examinations, and maintain accurate records.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and address any concerns.
Collaborate with the science department to coordinate timetables, share resources and organize inter‑school science events.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Physics (M.Sc or equivalent).
B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory; TET/CTET certification is preferred.
Clear understanding of senior secondary physics concepts and practical experiments.
Preferred Attributes
Ability to simplify complex topics for diverse learners.
Good command of English and Punjabi for effective classroom interaction.
Willingness to mentor junior faculty and contribute to departmental meetings.
