Job Description
Responsibilities
Teach English as a core subject to students in classes from Grade 3 to 12, ensuring alignment with the school’s curriculum and syllabus. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that incorporate reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in a structured yet interactive manner.
Prepare and assess students’ work regularly, providing constructive feedback to help them improve their language proficiency. Maintain a clear and organized record of student progress, attendance, and performance to support academic planning.
Collaborate with the school’s management and other teachers to address language-related challenges, such as pronunciation, grammar, or vocabulary gaps, while adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as the minimum qualification for teaching in Dips School. Possess a graduate degree in any discipline with a focus on English language skills.
Three years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an English-medium school or educational setting. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, having it can be beneficial for career growth.
Salary for this full-time position is Rs.18,000 to Rs.25,000 per month, with benefits including a modest allowance for professional development and recognition of service.
