Role Overview
Lord Krishna International School | Kapurthala Lodhi is looking for a dynamic professional to lead its music program in Sultanpur Lodhi, Kapurthala. The incumbent will shape the school’s musical environment, fostering creativity and cultural appreciation among students.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum aligned with school objectives, ensuring regular concerts, festivals and community performances.
Coordinate rehearsals, manage instrument inventory and oversee maintenance of audio‑visual equipment.
Collaborate with senior management to integrate music activities into school events and extracurricular calendars.
Mentor and guide student groups, preparing them for inter‑school competitions and cultural showcases.
Maintain records of student progress, attendance and participation in music-related activities.
Organize workshops and invite external artists to enrich the learning experience.
Prepare budgets for music department, procure instruments and negotiate with suppliers.
Ensure compliance with safety standards for all music facilities and equipment.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Minimum two years of experience managing music programs in a school setting.
Graduate degree in any discipline; B.Ed/D.El.Ed preferred, with TET/CTET considered an advantage.
Compensation
Salary range: Rs.16,000 – Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Employment Type
Full‑time, based at the Sultanpur Lodhi campus of Lord Krishna International School.
