The reality of this role
Teaching Business Studies at Saffron Public School means spending most of the day preparing lesson plans that connect theory with local business examples. You will guide students through case studies of Punjab’s small enterprises and help them apply economic concepts in real life. Classroom time is balanced with assessment preparation and occasional parent meetings.
What you will actually do
1. Deliver daily lessons in Business Studies for classes 9 to 12.
2. Design and update syllabus aligned with state guidelines.
3. Prepare worksheets, quizzes, and project materials that reflect regional commerce.
4. Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and class participation.
5. Mentor students for inter‑school competitions and business projects.
6. Coordinate with the school administration for resource needs.
7. Facilitate classroom discussions on current economic news.
8. Maintain accurate attendance and progress records.
Who can do this job
Post‑graduate degree in any discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Two years of teaching experience in a school setting. TET or CTET is preferred but not mandatory.

Strong command of Business Studies concepts, ability to simplify complex ideas, and a collaborative attitude. Good communication skills, punctuality, and a willingness to use technology in lessons are essential.
