Job Description
PGT Chemistry Teacher Responsibilities at Dips School, Kapurthala
You will design and deliver advanced Chemistry lessons for senior students, covering topics like organic chemistry, physical chemistry, and environmental science. Your teaching will align with the latest syllabus and curriculum guidelines, ensuring clarity and engagement for students at this level.
Daily classroom instruction will include interactive demonstrations, practical experiments, and problem-solving sessions. You will assess student understanding through quizzes, assignments, and periodic tests, adjusting teaching methods based on performance trends.
Collaborate with the Chemistry faculty to refine lesson plans and integrate real-world applications of chemical concepts. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate any learning gaps to the principal or relevant department heads.
Eligibility and Requirements
Hold a postgraduate degree in Chemistry or a related field with a focus on teaching. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory for this role.
Two years of relevant teaching experience at the secondary or senior secondary level is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage.
Salary and Employment Details
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary ranging from Rs.36,000 to Rs.66,000, depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time position based in Kapurthala, Punjab.
