Responsibilities
You will deliver structured mathematics lessons to students in Class 6 to 8 at Dips School, ensuring alignment with the current curriculum standards. Daily classroom instruction includes explaining algebraic concepts, geometric principles, and problem-solving techniques tailored to the students’ learning levels.
Your role involves preparing engaging lesson plans, using visual aids, and conducting practical demonstrations to reinforce theoretical knowledge. You will also assess student performance through regular quizzes, homework, and small group exercises to track progress effectively.
Daily attendance and punctuality are mandatory, as is maintaining a positive and supportive classroom environment. Collaboration with colleagues to address student challenges and adapting teaching methods based on feedback will be part of your routine.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field as a minimum requirement. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential for this position at Dips School.
Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a similar grade range, is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an advantage. Strong communication skills and a passion for mathematics education are key.
Salary and Employment Details
This is a full-time position offering a monthly salary between Rs.16,000 and Rs.28,000, depending on qualifications and performance. The role is based in Kapurthala, Punjab, with benefits including a standard workweek and leave provisions as per school policies.
