About This Role (immediate joining preferred)
We have an urgent opening for a TGT Science Teacher at Swami Sant Dass Public School Phagwara in Phagwara, Kapurthala, Punjab. Immediate joining is preferred. The ideal candidate should be experienced in teaching Science to students in classes VI to X.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Prepare and teach Science lessons to classes VI to X.
- Develop and implement effective classroom strategies to promote student engagement and learning.
- Prepare and administer Science assessments and exams.
- Maintain accurate student records and grade books.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development activities.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary units.
- Supervise students during Science experiments and activities.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you should have a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a strong background in Science teaching. A TET or CTET certification is preferred but not essential. You should have at least 4 years of experience in teaching Science in a school setting. Candidates with experience in teaching Science in Phagwara, Kapurthala, Punjab will be given preference.
