Collaborate with the science department to design interdisciplinary projects that connect chemistry with other subjects like physics, biology, or environmental studies. Maintain updated teaching resources, including lab equipment, textbooks, and digital learning tools, to support diverse learning needs.
Engage with parents and school management to discuss student progress and address any academic or behavioral concerns related to chemistry. Represent the school at local educational forums or competitions, promoting chemistry education within the community. Ensure compliance with school policies on curriculum adherence, student safety, and professional development.
Eligibility
Hold a postgraduate degree in Chemistry or a related field with at least three years of teaching experience in a school setting. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this position. Experience in teaching students from Class 9 to 12 is highly preferred. Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE syllabi and modern teaching methodologies will be an asset.
