Organize co‑curricular activities such as model parliament and debates to enhance practical understanding. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and student performance. Collaborate with fellow faculty for interdisciplinary initiatives and school events. Provide mentorship and guidance to students preparing for competitive exams related to political studies.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Political Science or related discipline. Must possess B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification as a teaching qualification. TET/CTET qualification is preferred and will be considered an added advantage. Candidates should have a sound grasp of the Indian Constitution, governance structures and contemporary political issues.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Political Science at the senior secondary level. Prior experience in a school setting similar to Josephs School will be beneficial. Demonstrated ability to handle classroom dynamics and promote interactive learning is essential.
Salary
Rs.30,000 - Rs.50,000 per month, payable as per the school’s salary structure.
