Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging Hindi language lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum, ensuring age-appropriate teaching methods. Develop lesson plans that integrate grammar, vocabulary, and cultural elements relevant to Punjab’s diverse student body. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to help them improve fluency and confidence in Hindi.
Teach pronunciation, script recognition, and basic writing skills while encouraging participation through interactive activities like storytelling, poetry recitals, and group discussions. Collaborate with other teachers to create cross-subject learning opportunities, such as integrating Hindi in social studies or literature classes. Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages respect, curiosity, and a love for the language.
Qualifications
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree as the minimum requirement for this teaching position. A graduate degree in Hindi or a related field is preferred. Possession of TET/CTET certification is advantageous but not mandatory for this role.
Experience
Prove at least two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting where you’ve worked with students aged 6 to 12. Experience in teaching Hindi as a primary or secondary subject is highly valued. Familiarity with Punjab’s education board syllabus would be beneficial.
Salary and Employment
