Teach Biology to students in Class 9 and 10 at International Public Sr. Sec. School, fostering scientific curiosity and practical learning through engaging lessons. Design experiments and activities aligned with CBSE syllabus to make complex concepts accessible and fun.
Plan and conduct weekly lab sessions, ensuring safety protocols are followed while encouraging hands-on exploration. Develop and update lesson plans incorporating modern teaching methods like project-based learning and digital resources. Assess student performance through continuous evaluation, including weekly tests and project submissions, to track progress effectively.
Engage with parents through regular communication, sharing student achievements and areas needing improvement. Collaborate with the science department to integrate interdisciplinary learning, such as linking biology to environmental studies or technology.
Hold yourself to high standards of classroom management, maintaining discipline while creating an inclusive environment for diverse learners. Ensure all teaching materials, including textbooks and lab equipment, are well-maintained and available for use.
Must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least a postgraduate qualification in Biology. Two years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably in a Punjab-based institution, is essential.
Earn a competitive salary of Rs.20,000 to Rs.35,000 per month while teaching Biology in Ludhiana East, Ludhiana.
