Job Description
TGT Biology Teacher Position at S.g.n International School, Ludhiana
We are looking for an experienced Biology teacher to join S.g.n International School in Ludhiana East, where students explore life sciences through hands-on experiments and critical thinking. This role involves designing engaging lessons on cell biology, genetics, ecology, and human physiology while aligning with the school’s curriculum. You’ll also mentor students in lab work, field studies, and scientific inquiry, ensuring they grasp concepts like evolution, biochemistry, and environmental science.
The job requires a passion for teaching biology at the TGT level, where you’ll shape young minds with interactive methods—think demonstrations, projects, and discussions. Your lessons should bridge theory and practice, making complex topics accessible through real-world examples. Whether guiding experiments or explaining photosynthesis, your ability to simplify scientific concepts will be key.
To qualify, you must hold a postgraduate degree in Biology or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. While TET/CTET isn’t mandatory here, having these certifications would be an asset. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in biology or science subjects, will be highly valued.
Based in Ludhiana, this full-time position offers a monthly salary of Rs.20,000 to Rs.40,000, depending on qualifications and experience. If you thrive in an environment that values innovation and student growth, this could be a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic school setting.

About School
I’ve been sending my kids to S.G.N. International School ever since they were in the lower grades, and I can tell you why it feels like a safe choice for many families in Ludhiana East.
