PGT Geography Teacher Job in Pathankot, Punjab | School Recruitment
The reality of this role
Teaching at Saransh International School means handling lively classes of Class‑XI and XII students, guiding them through physical, human and environmental geography. You will prepare lesson plans that relate to the local Punjab landscape, conduct field visits to nearby rivers and hills, and assess students through projects and exams. What you will actually do
- Deliver the CBSE Geography syllabus for senior secondary with interactive teaching methods.
- Design and execute practical sessions, including map work, GIS basics and field surveys.
- Create and evaluate assignments, quizzes, unit tests and annual examinations.
- Organize annual geography exhibitions and inter‑school quiz competitions.
- Mentor students for geography‑related Olympiads and state level contests.
- Maintain classroom records, attendance and timely submission of reports.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
- Support school events that promote environmental awareness in the Pathankot community.
Who can do this job
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Geography along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. A minimum of three years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level is required. TET or CTET qualification is preferred.
