PRT Evs Teacher Position at Partap World School, Pathankot
Partap World School in Pathankot seeks a dedicated PRT (Practicing Teacher) for Environmental Studies (Evs) to inspire young learners with hands-on, eco-conscious education. This role demands expertise in aligning curriculum with sustainability principles while engaging students in real-world environmental challenges. The teacher will design activities that integrate local ecology, conservation efforts, and climate awareness, ensuring practical applications beyond textbooks.
The Evs teacher will oversee field trips to natural reserves, urban green spaces, and agricultural projects, ensuring compliance with school safety protocols. Collaborate with science and social studies teachers to create interdisciplinary projects, such as waste management initiatives or renewable energy experiments. Assessment will focus on project-based evaluations, student presentations, and participation in school-wide sustainability campaigns.
A graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in environmental education or related subjects, will be highly valued. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset. The successful candidate will earn Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, with Pathankot serving as the primary location.
