Job Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT English Teacher to join our team at Angels Valley School Punjab. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students from classes 6 to 12 and will be expected to plan, deliver, and assess lessons, as well as contribute to the development of the English curriculum.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver lessons to students in classes 6 to 12
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback
- Develop and implement engaging and interactive teaching methods
- Use a variety of teaching resources and materials to enhance the learning experience
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide English curriculum
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide decision-making
- Develop and maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of English language teaching and learning
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in English or a related field and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A TET/CTET qualification would be preferred. You will also need to have a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience, with a proven track record of success in the classroom. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
