Short role introduction
The Milestone Smart School | Ghanaur invites a dedicated PGT English Teacher to enrich its academic community. This role focuses on delivering engaging English lessons to secondary students while fostering critical thinking and communication skills.

Daily responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily English lessons, ensuring alignment with the curriculum and learning outcomes.
Assess student understanding through formative checks and provide immediate feedback.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a supportive learning environment.

Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle
Prepare and update lesson plans for each term, incorporating varied teaching strategies.
Coordinate with senior faculty to integrate interdisciplinary projects and language activities.
Organise and facilitate class discussions, debates, and creative writing sessions.

Periodic responsibilities
Conduct mid‑term and final assessments, compiling results for academic reporting.
Participate in faculty meetings, contributing ideas for curriculum enhancement and school events.
Mentor junior teachers and support professional development workshops.

Qualification and experience
Post‑graduate degree in English or related field.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred.
Minimum of 4 years experience as an English teacher at the PGT level.

Salary and location
Full‑time position at The Milestone Smart School | Ghanaur, Patiala, Punjab.
Salary range: Rs.45,000 – Rs.55,000 per month.
